Camp Matching
Once your profile is complete, we’ll share it with camps across the U.S. Camps may request additional interviews before selecting their counselors.
Finalize the Paperwork
To secure your position, you’ll need to complete a few final steps, including:

What Type of Summer Camp Counselor Jobs Are Available?
General Camp Counselor
The most common role at camp! As a general counselor, you’ll help lead campers through a variety of fun and challenging activities. Whether it’s sports like soccer, hockey, or creative activities like arts & crafts and ceramics, your job is to make sure the campers are having the best time possible!
Specialist
If you have a particular talent or skill, such as swimming, music, arts, or outdoor activities, you can take on the role of a specialist counselor. You’ll lead specialized sessions, teaching campers new skills and helping them develop in your area of expertise.
Support Staff
Support staff play a crucial role behind the scenes, assisting with camp operations like cooking, cleaning, and organizing activities. If you enjoy being part of a team and contributing to the smooth running of the camp, this is a great opportunity.

In addition to Caneyesee program fees, you’ll need to account for third-party costs required to work in the U.S., which include:
- ACRO Police Check: £65
- US Embassy Visa Appointment: $185
- DS2019 Visa Paperwork: £75
- Flight Tickets: £300-£800 (Return)

- Program Fees: £1200
- Third-Party Fees: £280. (Flights are not Included).
